In 2021, Kayode produced and directed Nigeria’s first travel film, “Soole,” overcoming numerous challenges to create this memorable piece. Kayode has shot as director 10,860+ minutes of MNET’S telenovela series “UNBROKEN” and “RIONA”.

His production company, FilmTribe Media, achieved remarkable success with box office hits in 2021, with two of his movies in the top 10 box office releases in West Africa and four ranked among the top 10 most-streamed Nigerian films on Netflix. In 2024, according to StatiSense, Kayode was named among the top Nollywood movie directors by domestic gross value at the third position
